I was there today as part of a small birthday party. Since I wasn't very hungry, I asked if I could only have one instead of the large portion consisting of two schnitzel - a senior or children's plate, so to speak. What was possible with the currywurst from W., unfortunately, wasn't possible with the schnitzel. Then I didn't eat anything because I don't want to support this philosophy. I don't want to go there again, and I can't make a recommendation either. Also because the rest of the food was OK, but ultimately nothing special either.

Great, great food. A modest beer selection, but different from the local beers so that's nice. A Good selection of German food, and well made and seasoned. I have friends who travel across town to come here, so you should know it's worth the trip

Unfortunately we are not thrilled with this pub restaurant. With the actually very good reviews, we were really looking forward to the food. Ok, we had already prepared ourselves for a longer waiting time, but we really didn't expect more than an hour (especially since at most half the tables were occupied). But one after anonther: The side salads came after about 40 minutes. Solid dressing, good but nothing more. So, the salad was eaten and now the main course should come ... puff cake :( It took a full fifteen minutes for the plates to arrive. And now comes the part that I really hate to write: Visually, technically and also in terms of taste it remained far below our expectations. It was saturated, but unfortunately that was it. And the price-performance ratio was really bad in our opinion! I would like to mention that we gave an "extra point" for the friendly service.

Unbeatable even in corona times! Just ordered the classic burgers with steakhouse fries and Coleslaw salad, they were ready for collection on time and so delicious that I might get one later.

My number 1 for over 20 years! Not only nice service, also the best chef and especially great food!

Very cozy, rustic pub restaurant with a feel-good atmosphere. Super delicious food, large portions and a changing menu. Prices are fair, the service is very friendly and attentive! In summer you can sit comfortably in a small courtyard. If you want to eat in Wieblingen, you cannot avoid the stag.

Here they make an excellent schnitzel. Nice service, lots of locals, pleasantly busy, and friendly prices. Here you can go for fresh German cuisine with confidence.

The food there is absolutely wonderful, the staff is really nice and the wait time is just enough to have a chat. I had a schnitzel with chips (fries) that was perfectly seasoned and at a very good price. The look of the restaurant felt very cozy and traditionally German. Overall would 100% recommend to anybody wanting a good meal in a nice place.

Delicious food. In any case, reserve in advance because otherwise you can wait for a good hour to eat. Pulled pork burgers and Italian peasant salad were great.
